RiIt Came from Riverside: Inside the World’s Largest Collection of Science Fiction and Fantasy

This UCTV Prime original series ventures inside UC Riverside’s Eaton Collection, the world’s largest collection of science fiction, fantasy, horror and utopian fiction, for a peek at some of its treasures and conversations with writers and professors who offer up some intriguing ideas on science fiction’s expanding role in popular culture and growing acceptance in literary and academic circles.

Just a friendly reminder that out First General Meeting will take place tomorrow, Tuesday Nov. 20th from 6:40-7:30 pm at Winston Chung Hall (Eng. II) in Room 141. We’ll be getting acquainted with each other, as well as going over some tentative activities we have in store! We will also be going over some important information regarding the club, in hopes to run as smoothly as possible Winter quarter.

It seems as if we won’t be able to meet with Student Life until Week 3 now. So, our start-up process is again delayed. 

The GOOD news is, however, we will be ‘hangin’ around Coffee Bean on Tuesday and Wednesday of Week 2 from 11-130ish. I say this very very loosely due to the fact that we aren’t officially allowed to table yet. Like I said, we’ll be chillin’ around Coffee Bean, so swing by! There will be a contact sheet and we’d love for your name to be on it :D

Also, a few of us SFers would like to plan a little get together (seeing as how Week 3 is forever away right now). SO, I’d like to hear some ideas from you guys! What would YOU like to do? SF Movie night? Luncheon? Let us know!!
